What's involved in a full-time course?
The full time courses have five levels.
- Beginner
- Pre-Intermediate
- Intermediate
- Upper-Intermediate
- Advanced
Each level lasts two months. In order to qualify for a certificate, you must pass the Advanced level and fulfill all the course requirements. You will also sit a placement test to determine which level to start at.
Courses Available All Year Round
There are four full time English courses.
- English for Personal Development (GE/FT)
- Academic English (AE/FT)
- Business English (BE/FT)
- Special Interest (SE/FT)
(Please note that the special interest course timetable is subject to change in the afternoon according to the musical instrument or skill requested.)
From 10am - 1pm the four courses will combine and follow the same course structure according to level. You will work with the teacher to complete a coursebook, student workbook and progress tests.
From 2pm - 4pm, the courses will then divide into specific classes specialising on a skill related to your particular course. Following are the sample timetables for each course.
From 4pm - 5pm there is a tutorial which is an opportunity to ask the teacher to explain anything that you didn't understand or to do your homework. The teacher is available to assist you where necessary.
