The last time I was in Scotland was in 1993, I liked this country so much, I knew I wanted to return one more time. Now I had the opportunity to do it and was looking for another place than I was the last time. On my research I found a website of the Outer Hebrides and was at once fascinating. How disappointed was I, when I heard that I was the only one applying for the Course “outdoor Camp”. But here starts, what should accompany myself during the whole visit: Gordon wrote me an email and offered me an opportunity nevertheless to come to Stornoway learn English and have some freetime. You can’t explain the atmosphere in Stornoway or the College, you have to experience it on your own. You have to meet this friendly, open and communicative people on the Island yourself. It starts with a warm welcome from Gordon, the introduction to Stornoway and everything you can do and goes on with funny lessons with a big variety of topics, examples and interesting readings. The Island and College offers something for everybody . If you are looking for a quite stay with a lot of nature, I would recommend Stornoway and MiLC, if you are looking for getting to know a lot of interesting people, have a lot of activities and a lot of fun, I also would recommend MiLC.

Let me summarise my stay in one sentence: It was just great!
